CANMORE, AB – The Hockey Alberta Foundation welcomed golfers, sponsors, volunteers, alumni, and hockey supporters to Canmore on July 20–21 for the 21st Annual Hockey Alberta Foundation Golf Classic presented by ATB Wealth. Raising more than $154,000 in support of the Hockey Alberta Foundation and initiatives such as the Every Kid Every Community (EKEC) grant program and future leaders scholarship program.
The annual tournament is the Foundation’s signature fundraising event, with proceeds helping provide opportunities for more Alberta families to access the game through grants that reduce financial barriers and strengthen hockey in communities across the province.
The event kicked off on Monday with a day of golf at Stewart Creek Golf & Country Club, where teams enjoyed a friendly competition. At the conclusion of the tournament, the winning foursome was presented with championship belts.

The day continued with the Reception presented by Q2 Artificial Lift Services, bringing together golfers, sponsors, celebrity guests, and supporters for an evening of celebration, networking, and fundraising. Guests also had the opportunity to watch the Hockey Alberta Foundation Impact Video, showcasing how the Foundation and funds raised are making a difference in communities across Alberta by helping more young athletes experience the game.
In addition, Q2 Artificial Lift Services and Doug and Jodie Quinn generously matched all donations made through the Charity Hole, doubling the impact of every contribution and helping raise even more funds.
